Double-Blind Testing of the LifeWave X39 Patch to Determine GHK-Cu Production Levels

Summary:

The study aimed to determine if the LifeWave X39 non-transdermal photobiomodulation active patch would show improved production of GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine-copper(2+)) over controls in a double-blind randomized controlled trial. GHK-Cu is a tripeptide that is released during injury and aids in the body’s healing process. It has been implicated in the resetting of 4000 genes and is used to signal the beginning of the natural repair process.

The study involved 60 participants aged between 40 and 80, who were divided into two groups. Blood samples were taken at baseline, 24 hours, and at 7 days of wearing the patch. The results showed a significant increase in GHK-Cu concentration in the blood of the active group from Day 2 to Day 7.
