Team if you are going to use Facebook as a resource to grow your network here are a 6 things I would like you to look at to best optimize your profile.
1) Profile Pic
Your profile picture is super small, and it represents you every time you post or comment on Facebook as well as the first thing that people see when you are sending them a friend request.
It is the FIRST thing that people look at so it needs to be a really good representation of you. Your pic should be you, not a group or multiple people. It should be a close up picture of yourself and one of the best pictures that you have on your phone.
If you have to take a new picture do it facing a window and don?t be afraid to add a filter to it either.
2) Name
Facebook will allow you to change your name every few months. Your name is important and should be your real name. Not some crazy nickname or business name. You have the name on your account and then also the url Facebook.com/uniquename
3) Cover Photo
Should represent you, your family, a recent adventure you were on. Should show fun and freedom.
4) About Me Section
This is also called intro or bio. Make this a short fun description of what you do and what you love. Use a few emojis. Remember that people will just glance at this. They will not necessarily read it. Emojis will help with this.
5) Featured Images
If you don?t have featured images then Facebook will show random images here. You want to find 5 different images that are fun and a good representation of you.
6) Workplace – If you have a business page you will want to link to your business page, not the main company page. Otherwise you are sending your friends away from you.
